SpaceX's biggest rivalry Blue Origin has planned to carry its first commercial passenger in the space.


In this first commercial space flight, Blue Origin will carry only one passenger in their upgraded New Shephard. New Shepard is Blue Origin’s reusable suborbital rocket system designed to take astronauts and research payloads into space.


This commercial flight will open a new era of space tourism.

Blue Origin officially announced this project on Blue Origins' official youtube channel and pointed into their website to buy a ticket. Blue Origin's sudden move thrilled the space love. It becomes trending on social media like Twitter, Reddit, etc.



Then Blue Origin announced an online bidding system for the very first commercial passenger sits on New Shepard.



Blue Origin also said that the earning of the first passenger flight will be donated to Blue Origin’s foundation, Club for the Future, to inspire future generations to pursue careers in STEM and help invent the future of life in space.


Blue Origin has successfully tested its rocket for software qualification in NS-15.

After a clean separation from the propulsion module, the New Shepard capsule descends to a gentle landing in the West Texas desert.



Blue Origin also successfully tested their prior test for this passenger tourism project in NS-13.

Blue Origin is now ready to fly with its first commercial passenger on 20th, June with Blue Origin's first astronaut and first commercial passenger.


Bidding for the first passenger is still open. In Blue Origin's scheduled for the first crew, Blue Origin has noted-

participants must raise their bid limit by June 10 at 5PM EDT to participate in the June 12 live auction.
